Initally, we chose to use a song called "Missing" by The xx - in coming to this we decision we went ahead with the neccersary process of gathering the rights to use this song in our music video and took the liberty of trying to contact the record company, XL records. Jack emailed a lady named Emma who worked at XL records in the posistion of dealing with copyright matters. As you can see in the email below, she replied asking for specific details on our video among other things also.
We have since decided to change the song we want to use for our music video for reasons we have gone over in our inital ideas. Sam then sent to Gary Jules' information services through his website asking him for permission to use his song Mad World. So far there's no reply
