Research Methods

Primary Research
Primary research is research gathered by ourselves to gain a better insight into our chosen topic; for example, we are trying to research our target audience for our chosen music genre (Piano Rock). So far, we have constructed a questionnaire that we will be getting an audience to answer and our in-depth look into psychographics and demographics have given us a wider knowledge to determine who we shall be targeting our music video at.
Secondary Research
Secondary research is research conveyed by other people and published. For instance, the NRS (National Readership Survey) is a website that releases many statistics to help advertising companies to choose where they would like to advertise their matieral or the screenshots and the theories about users and graitification.
Sampling Methods

There are ways to choose our target audience by using methods such as:

Accidental/Stratisfied Sampling

Quota Sampling

Volunteer Sampling
